1) Ravi Shastri is unfit to be team India coach!
Big mouthed Ravi Shastri is unfit to be team India coach and needs to be sacked from this position after the England tour for a better candidate who preferably should be somebody who has played for the country with distinction and who is physically fit for the challenging job at hand. Ravi, I don’t think can even run two rounds of a cricket field with his (beer) tummy, forget about giving strenuous physical coaching to the boys on the field. Kapil Dev, Sourav Ganguly, Sehwag or a Tendulkar are the right choice for the job of the coach and our cricket Board should persuade either of them for the job.
Ravi Shastri is an ‘easy go’ guy who likes to enjoy his life and nothing wrong with that as that is his personal choice. He should return to commentary where he does a better justice to the job and coaching should be left to those who can withstand physical fitness and mental preparedness for the job. The job of a cricket coach is tough and the candidate should not just be one who is in the good books of captain but also one who can deliver!

2) Legitimising gay sex will have serious consequences
As Indian citizens, we respect the judgment of the Supreme Court but it is totally regrettable moment to grant gay sex or homosexuality constitutionally because it is against human nature physically and logically even this regrettable sense does not exist among the animals too. This historical verdict will lead to disasters on a larger scale across the country, the public morality will suffer and there would be widespread outbreak of many sexually transmitted disease. When every living thing naturally, by divine system, has a male and female it is needles to adopt any non-natural way. It will impact severally on our martial life and will open a very wide way to deprive women of their rights too.

3) Taj Mahal should not be politicised
Taj Mahal is considered one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage. But the UP government does not seem to move a single step to maintain it. It is extremely sorrowful and regrettable issue that Yogi Adityanath UP Chief Minister is not concerned about India’s pride only because it was built by order of a Muslim emperor. The Apex Court also repeatedly warned the UP government but the results are yet to be seen. He should not forget that now it is regarded by many as the best example of Indian tourist places and a symbol of India’s rich history as well as it attracts 7–8 million visitors a year. So, the must pay attention to its maintenance in a nice way irrespective of all differences of politics and religion.

4) Balancing act required
It refers to the 24-hour strike call given by The All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists on September 28, 2018, when about 8.5 lakh chemist shops throughout the country will remain closed against the government’s decision to permit e-pharmacies providing discounts ranging from 15-30 per cent on medicines.
The decision of the Union Health Ministry is apparently justified to relieve the general public. But its side-effects can be equally harmful when chemists may switch to other business because of heavily reduced sale. Medicines are emergency needs where life cannot wait for online booked medicine delivery thus, necessitating the existence of chemist shops.
Already some agencies are offering 17 per cent discount on home delivery of medicines irrespective of the quantity required. Biggest wholesale medicine market in India, Bhagirath Palace in Chandni Chowk has virtually converted into the retail market offering 20 per cent discount on branded medicines even for a single strip of medicine. Discounts on generic medicines range even up to 75 per cent. Even in retail markets in colonies, chemists are offering discounts ranging from 10-15 per cent without even been asked by consumers.
But such hefty discounts are possible in big cities only having direct distributor-network of pharmaceutical companies. Excessive trade margins are necessary for trade network in smaller cities and rural areas.
Union Health Ministry should restrict that e-pharmacies may execute orders, only say about Rs 1,000. Tenders can be invited for opening chemist shops in the government and private hospitals at least in the big cities where branded medicines may be available even in small quantities at 20 per cent discounts. The Union Health Ministry should take immediate steps to ensure some highest trade margin on generic medicines, which presently sky is the limit perhaps for bribing where government hospitals providing free medicines usually purchase generic medicines.

5) Hailing work of Kejriwal government
It is indeed a matter of pride for people of Delhi that the former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon appreciated the nice work done in respect to health services after visiting one of the mohalla-clinics opened by the Kejriwal-government in Delhi. Unfortunately, media coverage of such appreciation by a prominent foreign dignitary was quite inadequate.
Delhi government has taken many more such steps in respect to health services like free distribution of medicines including costly ones, costly medical investigations and surgery in private laboratories and hospitals is yet another welcoming feature which is not provided by any other state or in hospitals run by the central government. Rather premier institution like AIIMS charges though less than private ones for costly tests like CAT-scan etc.
But Delhi government should provide such free medical services only for citizens of Delhi by making it compulsory to link Aadhar card with Delhi address to OPD cards in hospitals run by the Delhi government. It is not appropriate that Delhi taxpayers may be burdened by services provided to the people of other states. Presently, bus-loads of people come from outside Delhi to get such fantastic totally free medical services provided by the Delhi government. Such a step will politically suit the Kejriwal government which can assure of similar services for spreading its political network in other states too.
