Lost both his hands, Class X boy displays exemplary courage, writes exam with feet


Even after losing hands, a student of Class X in Chhindwara district wrote examination using his legs displaying extraordinary courage.

Saifi, 15, who had lost his hands six years ago after he came in contact with an 1100 KV high voltage electric line while playing on terrace of his house, is appearing for exams at Penchvalley Excellence School centre.

At the time of accident, Saifi was studying in Class IV.

“He developed skills to write with feet, said Aaradhna Convent School’s principal Madhu Rai.

Saifi belongs to a middle-class family and his father owns a shoe shop in the town.

The young boy is a good player of carom and football and took part in district level football tournament, his teachers said. In future, Saifi wants to do a government job and lead a life on his terms.
