Mentoring touches a new high at Swami Vivekanand International School

The birth anniversary of India’s most celebrated yogi Swami Vivekanand was a memorable affair for the students at the Swami Vivekanand International School, with stalwarts from different walks of life addressing the students on this auspicious occasion.

This spectacular program was aptly titled ‘Mentor’s Day Celebration’. Dr. Chaitanya Giri, Scientist and alumni of Swami Vivekanand International School was the first speaker, who took the packed gathering of students on a fascinating journey into space, with his highly informative and well researched presentation. Dr. Giri made a strong emphasis for a more aggressive and dynamic approach by India in the field of space exploration and research and added that whoever controls the outer space will also wield tremendous influence on planet earth.

Viveck Shettyy, All India head of Media cell-CGSI (Consumer Guidance Society of India) waxed eloquent on the fascinating perspective of human existence from a yogi’s point of view. He urged the students to consume water with gratitude, respect the environment and mother earth at large, besides laying a strong emphasis on conscious breathing and self-awareness. The students listened in rapt attention and were clearly impressed by the wit and humor of his inspiring address.
