Ishant Sharma will replace injured Mohit Sharma in the ongoing ODI series against West Indies. The announcement was made by the BCCI through their official account on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Mohit, who aggravated his bilateral shin pain has been ruled out of the series. The ticket sales for the second ODI between India and West Indies commenced on Thursday with prices ranging between Rs 500 to Rs 8000.

Ishant missed the series in Bangladesh, the Asia Cup and the one-day series in England. His last ODI appearance for India was back in January against New Zealand.

Delhi was earlier supposed to host the lone T20 International versus the West Indies but a change in itinerary has led to Kotla hosting the second ODi while the T20 International will be hosted by Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.

West Indies put behind an acrimonious pay dispute with their Board to spank number one ranked India by a huge margin of 124 runs in the first one-dayer to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series on Wednesday.
