Just like Shravan carried his parents in two baskets, a young Delhi boy from a Muslim family, caught the attention of huge crowds as he carried his parents on a palanquin and reached Roorkee.

At 14 years of age, Mohammad Sajid Ali Khan carried his parents on his shoulders from Delhi to Haridwar as they were not fit to undertake the long Kanwar Yatra on foot.

However, this is not the first time he has done it for his parents. Donning ‘Shiva’ avatar, he has been carrying his parents to Haridwar for the past ten years which shows his devotion and love for them. To make it convenient for himself, he has designed a special palki for them.

Recently, after taking the holy water from Ganga in Haridwar, he reached Roorkee where people were amazed to see his devotion towards parents and swarmed like bees towards him.
