Shama Sikandar has grabbed all eyeballs for her recent portrayal of a sex addict in short film ‘Sexaholic’. Many have praised the actress’s evolution from playing the role of a shy, girl-next-door in TV shows to playing a bold role in this short film.
Shama has made another shocking revelation about herself recently. In a recent report in DNA, the actress has confessed that she suffers from bipolar disorder. Although she ignored it at first, with the help of her boyfriend she was dating at the time, she came close to realising her condition.
“For one year I did not even know what was happening to me so, I had no idea and I just used to feel very dark, gloomy and sad. I did not know what was the reason behind this, but I felt directionless. I felt hopeless and I hope that never happens to anybody because hope is what we survive on and if we don’t have hope we have nothing,” DNA quotes her as saying.
