Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said here on Wednesday that people in Maharashtra are upset with the Congress-NCP government and are now hoping the BJP will take Maharashtra forward.

“A lot of people are upset with Congress-NCP government in the state. “People want change, and they have hope that BJP government will take Maharashtra forward and bring the state back to first place from sixth place,” Gadkari added.

Polling began this morning in Maharashtra’s 288 Assembly constituencies to elect a new Legislative Assembly in the state.
