After running from pillar to post and forwarding letters to concerned officials brothers have started using social networking sites to seek justice for their deceased mother. Appealing PM to intervene in the issue.
Laxman Ambaji Bansode, a Nanded resident is a soldier serving in the Indian army. Despite filing a case with the Police pertaining to the murder of his mother Saraswati Bai the police is yet to nab the accused. Laxman and his brother Narbha Bansode a farmer has been writing and requesting various officials of police and civil administration for probing about the alleged murder of their mother. Saraswati was murdered on March 6, 2012 at Panbhosi village in Nanded district. However, the police have not made any headway into this case. Laxman also had demanded for a CBI probe to be held but the reply is still awaited.
They have forwarded a letter to District Solider Welfare Officer and Superintendent of Police, Nanded but they have not responded. It is suspected that the accused possess strong political links and direct connections with police authorities hence the investigation has been stalled.
Brothers have sent a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to handover the investigation to CBI. The police have failed to investigate the case in an amicable manner. Their brother Rohidas has started using social networking sites to seek justice for their deceased mother. They have also gained support from netizens.
Laxman Bansode brother of Narbha said “My mother was unwilling to offer land to the accused persons. So they assaulted her with an iron rod and murdered her. I have demanded for a CBI inquiry as the local police have failed to investigate this case properly. The accused have political backing and power. And all my letters to higher authorities and government has gone unanswered as I demand justice for my mother.”
“I as a jawan protect my country ‘Bharat Ma’ but I failed to protect my mother.
“My family has relocated to another city as accused were threatening them. I appeal to the media and nation to please support me in my fight for justice for her” he added.
