Modi added fuel to the fire in his 90 minutes talk in Parliament and exposed the weaknesses of Congress, which its President heard with a grim face before walking out. Modi’s attack on the Opposition party interspersed with statistical claims of his having achieved much more than what was done during UPA days and came amid relentless slogan-shouting by Congress MPs, who also waved placards regarding Andhra Pradesh and the Rafale deal in the Well of the House. Congress party is taking desperate measures as it failed to break NDA as TDP remain with Modi and there are no scams during the last four years to mention the most. Whereas, Congress rule was full of scams and the party is now feeling the pinch for that even now. Modi tore the opposition with his eloquent speech and mentioned that Congress carved up nation and ruined democracy. He was ready to call a spade as spade and spared nobody in the Congress cadre’s misrule.

He emphasised the fact that Kashmir problem would not have been there had Sardar Patel been the first PM and not Nehru. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was able to dictate terms with facts and figures and the members were stunned with his bold and purposeful speech. All along, the opposition led by Congress was trying to disrupt Parliament and tried to find fault with ruling party. This time round, Modi paid Rahul Gandhi in his own coin and made him a silent spectator. He never cared about slogan shouting but pressed his point with force and aggression. Prime Minister Narendra Modi tore into the Congress in the Lok Sabha and taught them a lesson by accusing the party of partitioning the country and also of scuttling democracy during the past 70 years of rule. His attack included barbs on Congress president Rahul Gandhi and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, who he accused of being undemocratic. Now, the battle lines are drawn for allegations and counter allegations till elections.
