Motor mouth BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj has sparked yet another controversy, this time blaming Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi for Nepal earthquake over his alleged beef eating.
“Rahul Gandhi eats beef, and goes to the holy shrine (Kedarnath) without purifying himself. The earthquake was bound to happen,” Sakshi Maharaj was quoted as saying by a newspaper in Haridwar.
Sakshi maharaj was reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s recent Kedarnath temple visit in Uttarakhand last week.
Nearly, 4,000 people have lost their lives in the earthquake in Nepal.
Meanwhile, the Congress has slammed the BJP demanding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and party chief Amit Shah take action against him.
Congress spokesperson Sushmita Dev said PM and Amit Shah should stop supporting politics of hate which has even denigrated Bhagwan Kedarnath through.
