The armed robbers in Mandla village of Jhabua district in Madhya Pradesh has abducted the bride after looting cash and jewellery from wedding guests on early Sunday morning.
The crime happened at Pitol on Gujarat-Madhya Pradesh border.
Police have found the jeep used for the crime, but yet to arrest anyone.
The incident happened when the wedding party of 150 people was returning from Garbara in Gujarat.
According to reports, the robbers abducted the bride Sumitra Ben after she recognized the criminals.
Jhabua and Dahod police have begin joint operation to trace the girl. The Gujarat police is analyzing the video footage of the wedding function.
