Industrialist Raj Kundra, married to actress Shilpa Shetty, is the latest celebrity in line to have received a threat call from underworld gangster, Ravi Pujari.
According to the police complaint registered by Raj, Ravi Pujari has asked him to pay a sum of Rs 3 crore or face the dire consequences.
The security has been upped at the Kundra residence and extra police protection has been provided to both Shilpa and her husband by the Mumbai Police, post the extortion call from the underworld.
Earlier, Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan was reported to have been under Ravi Pujari’s radar, including the entire unit of his `Happy New Year` team.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Crime Branch is investigating the threat call.
