Kerala Governor Sheila Dikshit, who met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at the North Block on Monday, denied reports about resigning from her post and termed them to be speculation.
“Let them be speculations till any truth comes out,” said Dikshit.
“I always call on the President. It is my duty to call on him,” she added when asked about her expected meeting with President Pranab Mukherjee later in the day.
According to sources, Dikshit may tender her resignation as the Kerala Governor when she calls on the President.
Dikshit was appointed the Kerala Governor by the former UPA regime after she led the Congress to a humiliating defeat in the Delhi assembly polls.
