A UP based16 year old boy, son of an army officer was found from a hotel based in Vasai. The boy aspires to become a singer however his parents want him to join the army. Therefore the boy escaped from his house in UP and came to Mumbai.
The boy has been identified as Siddharth Kumar (16), a resident of Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. Cops found around 1600 songs which was written by him in his bag. Siddharth is also a brilliant student and he had scored 91 per cent in HSC. The Virar police have now informed Siddharth’s parents and they will be coming to Mumbai to take him back home.
Police said, “Siddharth’s father Harpit who is working in Indian army and he had forced his son to join army. Siddharth nonetheless dreams about becoming a singer. Siddharth’s family is waiting for him to return home.”
According to the police officials, “Two months back Siddharth ran away from his home. Before leaving home he noted address of all the big studios based in Mumbai through internet. He arrived in Mumbai in train and alighted at Bandra Terminus. On same day, he visited Yash raj, T-series and Balaji studios but nobody entertained him as he was a minor.”
Siddharth took up a job of a waiter in a restaurant at Bharat Hotel in Grant Road. He quit the job and began working in Samdhan hotel in Vasai West.
Avinash Kause proprietor of Samdhan restaurant said, “Few days back, I had ousted Siddharth from the job as he looked untrustworthy. He is a brilliant boy and had joined tuition classes at Vasai.”
Virar police officials said, “Siddharth had logged into his facebook account through his friend Rakesh Bagia’s phone few days back who is employed in the same restaurant.”
Senior Inspector, Sunil Mane of Virar Police Station said, “On Thursday we received a call from Meerut Railway police and we traced the boy from the restaurant. Siddharth doesn’t want to return home as his father had forced him to join Army. We have already informed to his parents and they are arriving in the city to take him.”
