Two married couple from Ulhasnagar Township of the district have been booked by the police here on the alleged charges of beating a teenage girl and tearing her clothes near, in the town a court on June, police said.
PSI HB Dagade of the Ulhasnagar police station said one of the accused; Sandeep Gaikwad had taken the picture of the 18-year-old victim while she was taking bath.
Later, he blackmailed her saying that if she fails to fall prey to his lust he would defame her by showing the photo to others.
Since then he raped her several times at different places, the complaint stated.
It was on June 2, the four some caught hold of the girl near the Chopda court and beat her, stripped her and tore her clothes, the complaint given by the victim to the police late last night stated.
The four some have been charged under sections 376,354(k); 323,405 r/w 34 of the IPC.
The other three who also beat her include Madhukar Birhade, Birhade’s wife and Gaikwad’s wife, all from the slum colony near the Chopda court.
The victim is also resident of the same slum colony.
The police have so far not arrested any one, police added.
