Unidentified man assaults shopkeeper at Charkop, decamps with cash

Chandramohan Tukaram Yarzal, a resident of sector 3, Charkop, was hit by an iron rod when he was alone in his shop by some miscreants. They had stolen cash worth Rs 88,000 and fled away. No CCTV was installed in the shop. The victim sustained injuries and had to have 45 stitches. A case was registered with the Charkop Police station.
