The student who was allegedly molested in the Visva Bharati University has decided to quit the university. She is currently completing exit formalities.
The victim’s father had lodged a complaint with the Birbhum Police. She was allegedly sexually harassed by her seniors.
The victim’s father had also accused the police and the university of inaction. The girl, allegedly molested and sexually harassed by three of her seniors, hails from Sikkim.
Three students were arrested on August 30 and were sent to judicial remand till September 13.
