IPL 9 is going to kick start on April 9 but the grave water situation is creating doubts about the conditions of the pitches prepared for the shortest form of the game. The drought situation in Maharashtra could well knock the shin out of the IPL getting underway. Indian Premiere League’s season nine will see water being used in plenty to ease out the pace on the wickets at various grounds in the State and in other centres in India. Opposition is right in saying that holding matches in the state as the several districts are currently reeling under severe drought. Leaders can deny and say there is no water shortage in Mumbai and Pune as they never know the sufferings of farmer’s committing suicide and people suffer from acute water shortage. The sensitive issue will come out in open when the matches are played on over watered wickets to nullify the pace of the fiery pace bowlers from foreign land. IPL is yet another Tamasha to display our latent talent in our backyard.
