World’s oldest lady Misao Okawa clueless over ‘long life’ secrets

Misao-OkawaThe world’s oldest living person, Misao Okawa has admitted that even she wonders over the secrets to her long life.

The 117-year-old Japanese woman, born on March 5, 1898 in Osaka, recently said on her birthday that that her long life didn’t seem that long and she felt very happy to be of that age, News.com.au reported.

The Guinness World Record holder, who was dressed in a pink kimono decorated with cherry blossom prints, with her hair decorated with a pink daisy pin, got a big bouquet from Osaka government official Takehiro Ogura.

Previously, the old lady had said on her 116th birthday that sushi and sound sleep were her secrets to long life.

Okawa, who married her husband, Yukio, in 1919, and had three children, has slowed in recent months and has trouble hearing, but eats well and now has four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
