Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief Yasin Malik, who has been accused of snatching an Indian Army boat meant for relief work in flood-hit Jammu and Kashmir, has denied all such allegations.

Malik termed the reports on him disrupting the relief and rescue work as just a poisonous propaganda by the Indian media
Malik reportedly said that if charges against him are proven true, he will quit Kashmiri politics.

He, however, did not clarify from where did he get the boat and relief material, pictures of which have been circulated on social media.

The separatist leader also went on to accuse the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) of not distributing relief material, claiming people are facing shortages.

Reports had earlier claimed that Malik was in a September 13 video seen disrupting relief and rescue operations in a flood-hit area.

As per reports, the JKLF chief and his aides hijacked a rescue boat in order to ‘personally’ distribute relief items.
