Online registration will begin from 13 January 2016.
Maharashtra Housing and Area Deve-lopment Authority (MHADA) will offer 1085 houses in its new MHADA Lottery 2016 at Pratikhsa Nagar, Chembur, Unnat Nagar and Rawalpada locations in Mumbai. These homes will come up in the lottery in May 2016. The government also wants to give out 67,000 homes across the state via MHADA in the coming five years. The other good news is about the size of the flats.
S S Zende, Chief Executive officer, MHADA said, “For MIG, the carpet area can go up to 600 sq ft, so in this we can have a 2-BHK flat easily. For the next lottery, we will have 2-BHK flats for MIG too.” Currently, in MIG, only 1-BHK flats are available in Mumbai. With this new move, bigger apartments will be available for MIG too, a luxury available only for HIG now.
This year MHADA will include more amenities and special water pipeline in the project so that successful applicants don’t have any difficulties regarding water supply as last year BMC has not provided water supply for a project developed by MHADA. Earlier, MHADA flats had lots of issues related to water and amenities. Moreover, the constru-ction standards were low, looking at litigations on MHADA, this time they have taken extra precautions while providing best of accommodations to lottery winners.
MHADA flats online appli-cation registration begins on 13th January 2016. Candidates have to submit the form online. Candi-dates may get help from authorized computer centers, if they do not know how to fill forms online. Few years back, forms were submitted offline. If prospects are available at office then purchase the form and fill it manually and submit it along with DD. So you need to submit some documents while submitting forms.
All you need to do is to maintain digital photos and signatures. MHADA flats registration fee details of DD or scan copy. Keep scanned copy of identity proof details with you.
