Aaditya Thackeray on Sunday criticized state Chief Minister Eknath Shinde after allocation of the portfolios and giving crucial Home and Finance to Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis while only keeping Urban Development and 11 other ministries with himself

Thackeray argued that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had amassed the majority of the desired ministries, resulting in a “major imbalance of power.” The Shinde-Fadnavis administration’s lack of female participation in the cabinet was another issue that the Yuva Sena leader criticised.

“When the focus is on Government and not Governance, it takes 41 days for cabinet expansion (with a promise of another one), and then 5 days for portfolio allocation (with a major imbalance of power), in a dispensation with no representation for women and State’s capital- Mumbai,” the Worli MLA wrote on Twitter.
