Barely months away from the upcoming lok have Sabha polls, AIADMK and CPI-M had announced an alliance for the general elections on Monday.
Speaking on the issue of the prime ministerial candidate, Jayalalithaa said that the discussion has no relevance for now and it will be taken up after the results.
The announcement was made after Tamil Nadu CM met the General Secretary of the CPI, AB Bardhan, at her residence.
The alliance came even as DMK snapped ties with Congress and has the support of the Left Parties from the last four years. AIADMK is likely to benefit from the alliance in several constituencies.
