City-AnitaClaiming to be late Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna’s live-in partner, Anita Advani, has challenged the sale of his bungalow ‘Vardan Aashirwad’.

Anita Advani said, “I have challenged the will, as I have already won the case twice earlier. They are not allowing me to have a look at the copy of will. If it is correct, then why they are hiding it, and if it is challenged, then how can somebody sell it off? It doesn’t happen anywhere in the world.

I want to fight for it. It is Kakaji’s last belonging and they want to sell it off. As per his wishes, I will make a museum there. It is like erasing every bit of his memories.

Just like everybody else even I got to know from the public notice and I am moving immediately. I had no intimation of anything like this taking place at all. They have no respect for judiciary. When a case is going on, how can it be sold?

Commissioner has said that I should be provided with a copy of will. But each time the matter is pushed forward and I am still not given the copy.

Kakaji and I have decorated that house, so that it can be converted into a museum, and all his loved ones can visit it. He always insisted that both my daughters are well off and don’t need that property. So it must be converted into a museum. He gave me this responsibility and I will fight tooth and nail for it.

Why would he give anything in written? He had said all this in an interview with Times. I have decorated every corner of that house with my own hands. How can I not be attached to it?”

Reportedly the bungalow has been sold for 90 crores. However, Anita Advani claims that two years ago when she calculated the value of the property, in presence of Rajesh Khanna, it came out to be around 150 crores.
