Addressing the press on Thursday, Shenoy claimed that she has an audio recording of Labour Minister Parameshwara Naik threatening her.

She claimed that she has the video of state minister’s alleged love affair.

She added that she would not withdraw her resignation until the minister quits.

Shenoy had recently resigned as Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kudligi Sub-division in Ballari district, in protest against the Karnataka Labour Minister Parameshwar Naik’s alleged interference in her official work.

In a Facebook post earlier, Shenoy had dared Naik to resign: “I have resigned already, Parameshwara Naik, when will you?”

In her Facebook post, Shenoy also threatened to release a CD that should be viewed only in the midnight if Naik fails to resign.

She had also warned that the CD is not meant for children, as per OneIndia report.

She wrote: “CD beku?… Audio beku?… ” (Do you want a CD or a audio tape?) using hashtags #ParameshiPremaPrasangaBhaga1 and #WashingPowderNirmaPart2.
