Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College of Commerce & Economics, Malad (W), Mumbai is organizing their inter-college festival extravaganza – ‘Dalmia Lions Utsav 2015-16’ on 22nd and 23rd December 2015 to encourage talent and creativity among the youth.
‘Dalmia Lions Utsav’, that has been around for the past 25 years is one of the grandest inter-college festivals in suburban Mumbai. Every year, the Dalmia Lions Utsav’s theme has a direct connect with youth. This time being the 26th year of ‘Dalmia Lions Utsav’, the theme of the festival is inspired by the ‘Missile Man of India’ – APJ Abdul Kalam, titled Wings of Fire – Explore the Universe of dreams.
Speaking about the event organisers Lion Sharad Ruia, Chairman, Lion Kanahaiyalal G. Saraf Hon. Secretary, Dr.N.N. Pandey Principal, Prof Subhashini Naikar DLU Co-ordinator of Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College of Commerce & Economics said, “Dalmia Lions Utsav is one of the famous, oldest and much sought after college extravaganzas in Mumbai. This year the Dalmia Lions Utsav inspired by the vision of the ‘Missile Man of India’ is celebrating APJ Kalam’ s clarion call: Wings Of Fire – Explore the Universe of dreams. It encourages youth to display their talent, creativity and provides corporates an opportunity to showcase their brands thus forge a direct connect with the youth.”
‘Dalmia Lions Utsav 2015-16’ is solely managed by the students and teachers of Prahladrai Dalmia Lions College of Commerce & Economics who tirelessly work for over a month to make it a grand success. Like every year, they are confident of setting the high standards of the events and making worthy for the participation of other colleges and sponsors.
