A woman Ultra today surrendered at the office of the superintendent of police here in Kalahandi district as she was “disgusted” over the Maoist activities.
Kalamdei Majhi (24), who joined the banned outfit in October last year, surrendered before the Superintendent of Police of Kalahandi district Brijesh Rai.
The SP said her activities were confined to the Gundi and Khandualmali Reserve Forest areas.
Disgusted over the Maoist activities, she decided to quit the outfit. She also complained of harassment of women members by senior cadres, the SP said.
She was being interrogated, he said.
