Terrorist organisation ISIS, recently in news for carrying out series of beheadings, has allegedly hacked Haryana government’s State Centre for Education Research and Training (SCERT) website.

As per a Haryana government teacher, “The details were revealed after the ISIS flag was noticed with ‘Hacked by Islamic State (ISIS), we are everywhere ;)’ written on website’s homepage.”

However, the officials were unaware about the incident due to Holi holidays. But as soon as the matter came to notice, the message was removed and the website now shows, ‘The Site Is Under Maintenance Message’.

Initial probe linked the hacking to the Islamic state after their Facebook page IP address (https://fb.com/100008945136328) was found below the message.

The investigators are, however, not clear as yet whether alleged ISIS hackers had stolen any government data from the website.

The state police has registered a case and are carrying on further investigating into the matter.
