The village is observing a spontaneous shutdown for the next two days as a mark of respect for the dead soldier as also to register their protest against Pakistan for repeatedly violating cease-fire norms established in November 2003.

Maharashtra Revenue Minister Chandrakant Patil, who is also a district guardian minister, paid homage to the martyr on Monday and assured all help the family all help.
