After the controversy over kidneys of the Lucknow murder victim, two versions of her age have come under question. There is a difference of 10 years in the age of the deceased according to the autopsy and her school records.
According to the postmortem report of the women, she was 25 years old. But according to the high school certificate of the victim that she had submitted at the hospital she worked, she was born on December 23, 1978-which means she was 35 year old. She had done her high school from Bihar board.
“The overall autopsy report has come under scanner, everything would be clarified,” a police spokesperson said.
On Tuesday Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has ordered a probe into the autopsy report of the Lucknow murder victim to ascertain whether the woman had donated her kidney or not. Akhilesh Yadav asked Director General (Health) and Director General Medical Education) to examine the autopsy video.
As per the documents available at the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, the women had undergone a kidney transplant in the same hospital on October 20, 2011 under Dr A Srivastava. The institute has already sent a CD containing the details to the police.
“We are examining the video of the post mortem process,” DIG, Lucknow Navneit Sekeria told the media.
