An Indian woman succumbed to the injuries she sustained in a fatal tour bus crash last week in Delaware state in the US, the third victim of the accident.
Jyostina Poojari, 43, from Mumbai was a passenger on the tour bus that crashed on September 21.
She sustained multiple traumatic injuries and was transported to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center in Newark where she remained in critical condition.
She was pronounced dead, Sergeant Paul Shavack of the Delaware State Police said in a statement. Poojari was the third female passenger who died from injuries sustained in the fatal tour bus crash.
Two other passengers, identified as 54-year-old Hua’y Chen of New York City, and 30-year-old Idil Bahsi, of Istanbul, Turkey, were killed and dozens were injured when the bus overturned on a curved exit ramp.
