Police claimed to have rescued five girls by raiding a dance bar and a lodge in Kashimira area in Thane district on Sunday.
Raids were carried out on the intervening night of October 11 and 12 at Sea Magic Orchestra Bar and a lodge in the area, said Assistant Superintendent of Police Atul Kulkarni.
Four men were arrested during the raids, he said.
The orchestra bar allegedly did not have necessary permissions and girls were found to be dancing in an obscene manner inside, police said.
Ram Bharose Sav and Ranjit Yadav were arrested from the bar under the Maharashtra Prohibition of Obscene Dance in Hotels, Restaurants and Bar Rooms and Protection of Dignity of Women Act, 2016.
Police also raided Surya Prakash lodging-cum-boarding and arrested Sunil Gowda and Ravindra Patil, its manager and cashier, for allegedly forcing women into flesh trade.
They were booked under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act.
