Actress Megan Fox has banned her children from her film and TV sets after her eldest son bust his lip open during a visit to see mother at work.
The 29- year-old actress’ boys Noah Shannon, three, and Bodhi Ransom, 22 months, love spending time with mother, but they are no longer allowed to accompany her to work.
“I took Noah for the first time when he was two to the set of (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles). It’s a dangerous place for kids. He tripped over a wire and busted open his lip, so I’ve never brought my kids back to set,” she said.
However, Noah is quickly growing up and realising he is no longer a baby. “Once, he grabbed my hand and he said, ‘Mommy, I’m going to hold your hand so that I can help you if you ever fall down,'” she recalls. “He was two when he said that. (Now he) is just growing up really fast.
“Yesterday, he was like, ‘Mommy, I’m your baby?’ And I said, ‘Yeah.’ And he said, ‘But this baby is growing up.’ I was like, ‘Woah. Yeah,'” she added.
The ‘Shake It Off’ hitmaker admits she usually plans her career two years in advance but is trying to learn to be more impulsive and is going to let her story “write itself” for sometime now.
She said: “What I’m looking forward to in 2016 is not knowing what’s next. I’ve always planned my career a year or two in advance, and I refused to do that this time.
“1989 was such a huge chapter in my life and career, and it’s an exciting thought to let the story write itself now for a while.”
The 25-year-old beauty has had a long year, having toured many countries across the globe as part of her ‘1989’ world tour.
When asked to reflect on 2015, she shared to PEOPLE magazine: “The most challenging part of the year was being on-point for every show of a huge stadium tour.
“There was a lot to remember and balance with all the surprise guest performances, but it was worth it. I feel like we created memories I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.”
Meanwhile, Taylor previously admitted she felt “lucky” to be liked by so many people.
She said: “Things are good right now but I’m never going to be stupid, foolish or ignorant enough to think I have control over the public. All I can control is making good music.
“I am so lucky that people seem to like me right now, but in no way, shape or form is it a permanent thing. And I think being aware of that is what keeps you smart and is what keeps you on the game.”
The ‘A Walk To Remember’ star has submitted documents to court to ask her estranged husband Ryan Adams to pay her a hefty sum so she can care for their eight pets.
According to reports, court documents filed by Mandy’s legal team quote her as saying: “I feel as if I have no alternative. Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time.
“[I had to] cancel a prior work engagement because my housekeeper was ill and unable to stay with our pets while I travelled for work … Without Ryan’s help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like.”
The 31-year-old star reportedly earns only a quarter of the musician’s annual income and she states, during their six year marriage, he made contributions to their mortgage, taxes and insurance.
Meanwhile, the pair insist their split was a “mutual” decision and that the break up is very “respectful and amicable”.
A spokesperson said at the time: “Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost 6 years.
“It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time.”
The bonding of ex-couple Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone after Tamasha, has not only shocked the audiences but also Katrina Kaif. Many times, she has declared that she has no plans of getting married as of now. Perhaps she fears her wedding with boyfriend Ranbir. In a recent interview, the actress revealed about her greatest fear, which apparently is Ranbir’s ignorance after the wedlock.
The Phantom actress has been quoted as saying, “My greatest fear is that if and when I get married and I am standing at the altar or the mandap, he (Ranbir) may not love me completely. That he may not know his mind well enough to be making those commitments. The anticipation of heartbreak is my only fear”.
She added “The back of my head wants to believe that I am (in a secure relationship). But the front of my head says be careful. I don’t think I can make such claims, because where it selfless love, then I would not feel the need to assert myself as much in the relationship. I would be more tolerant. I don’t want to be tolerant. I don’t want to accept it. I want to fight. I want to get what I think I deserve”.

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra beat off global competition to retain her title as the “Sexiest Asian Woman” in an annual UK poll.
The singer and actress, 33, came out on top following millions of votes pouring in from across the globe on social media for the 2015 edition of the popular ’50 Sexiest Asian Women’ poll conducted by London-based weekly newspaper ‘Eastern Eye.
“Now that’s a title I’m happy to hold on to. I’m bringing sexy back! A big thank you to everyone who’s voted for me. Thank you also to ‘Eastern Eye’ for making me feel ‘sexy’; well, at least for another year. A piece of advice to the ladies – it’s all in the mind. Remember, sexy is as sexy does,” said Chopra.
This is the third time in the past four years that Chopra, who has been making waves with her role as an FBI recruit in American television thriller “Quantico”, topped the list. The win rounds off a dream year for the former Miss World, which includes winning all-round praise for her 2014 film “Mary Kom” and 2015 box-office hit “Dil Dhadakne Do”.
“Priyanka Chopra is doing India proud on the global stage and winning loads of admirers. This was illustrated by the largest-ever number of votes by non-Asians that she received from all over the world.
“She is clearly building bridges internationally through her art and will continue to do so in the coming years. And by excelling in TV, film and music, the multi-talented actress has shown just how far hard work can take you,” said Asjad Nazir, ‘Eastern Eye’ entertainment editor and founder of the list.
The complete ’50 Sexiest Asian Women’ 2015 list, which is compiled from votes on social media, will be published in ‘Eastern Eye’ on Friday (December 4).
The title prima-facie may appear a bit shocking, but yes, food and water are very essential for life. I used to consult a homeopath who won’t prescribe me medicine unless I produce a diet chart of at least seven preceding days. If I enlist “tea” in the morning, he will not be pleased but if I write “coffee” he will become angry and give me at least 15 minutes lecture. If I mention about having eaten vegetarian food, he will be happy but if I write “mutton”, he will produce quite a few certificates from his patients who voluntarily gave up non-vegetarian food. I stopped consulting him due to my inability to follow this strict regime on board. Nowadays, he has also started emphasizing on diet. Yes, what we eat is what we are, it determines our health.
On board ships we eat too much. We consume too much oily and spicy food and waste large quantities of food. Wasting food must be avoided. May people across the world, sleep half stomach or even empty stomach and we must be mindful of this. We should solemnly pray for a few seconds before commencing to eat to thank God for the food. We should serve only that much food in plate which we can finish. Adding extra salt or sugar should be avoided. On board, it becomes necessary to eat Chicken, mutton, beef, pork and fish but we should prefer Chicken and fish as compared to the others.
We must drink at least 2-3 litres of water every day (not too cold) and should not get habituated to soft drinks. It’s better to consume fruits instead of having fruit juice. An apple in the morning is good but if you have bananas then consume them together. We must keep our meat, fish and vegetable rooms clean and at minus 21 degree Celsius (cut off) and plus 4 degree Celsius (cut off) for vegetable room. Do not depend on ship chandlers alone to fetch you vegetables and fruits. When you go ashore in a group, look and buy directly from the market and carry it yourself. One of our German masters used to ask his steward to bring him his two cans of “green medicine” (the beer) for lunch. He will not eat anything but one can always change if he wants to. He eventually took a liking for fruit yoghurt.
There are certain things in “Ayurveda”, the most common, the cheapest and the best is “Triphala” tablets (it comes in powder form too but sticks to the throat causing coughing). Having two tablets with warm water after dinner solves many problems. I have been pleading with the Government of India to facilitate the availability of these medicines through small shops located inside the ports. And yes, Salmon Omega-3 and natural B (vitamin B complex), or suitable equivalents, should also be the companions of seamen. I don’t have any intention to dictate or promote anything through this article. Individual choices and regional specialties are worthy of respect.
Few investors came forward to bid for Dawood’s properties due to security threat.
The auction of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s property was held at Hotel Diplomat in Colaba. Former city-based journalist S Balakrishnan purchased Dawood’s Delhi Zaika restaurant by quoting the highest bid amount of Rs 4.28 crores. President of Hindu Mahasabha Swami Chakrapani bought Dawood’s car for 3.2 lakh. He said, “I will set the vehicle on fire by burning the don’s effigies inside it.” The starting bid of the Hyundai Accent (MH-04-AX-3676) car was priced at Rs 15,700. The green sedan had been parked at a government society in Ghatkopar for the past four years and is in bad shape with burst tyres and shattered windshield.
Delhi-based lawyer Ajay Shrivastava has also shown interest in these assets. Security was beefed up at the site where the auction took place to avert any untoward incident.
The government agency had appointed a private firm to hold the auction under the Smugglers and Foreign Exchange Manipulators (Forfeiture of Properties) Act, 1976. Balakrishnan, who is the Chairman of Desh Seva Samiti, said, “My NGO wants this property (eatery on Pakmodia) to help underprivileged women and children of Bhendi Bazar to learn computers. This will help the people in society and give a strong message to gangsters like Dawood that Indians are not afraid of him and he can no longer unleash terror in the country.”
“We had made a bid of Rs 4.28 crores. Burhani had made a bid of Rs 4.27 crores and then I extended the bid by one lakh. We have already deposited Rs 30 lakhs and rest amount would be paid within one month” he added.
Earlier, Balakrishnan had filed a complaint with the police saying that Dawood’s right-hand man Chhota Shakeel had threatened him against bidding for the property.
The property was auctioned by the competent authority and administrator under the Smuggling and Foreign Exchange Manipulators Act of 1976 and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Prevention) Act.
The eatery, Delhi Zaika, earlier hotel Rounak Afroz, is priced at Rs 1.18 crore. This eatery, said police, is located at a stone’s throw distance from Dawood’s house in Dambarwala building where his younger brother Iqbal Kaskar resides.
The room, which belongs to the gangster, is situated in Mahavir Building in Matunga, said police. The base price for the 32.77 sq metre room has been fixed at Rs 50.44 lakh.
This is not the first time that a benami property of Dawood Ibrahim was auctioned. Income Tax authorities have earlier put 11 properties on auction four times since the 1993 bombings but with little success.
December 8 was the last date for sending application for the auction but a few people have come forward to show interest in the property.
Ibrahim, reported to be hiding in neighbouring Pakistan, runs D Company, a crime syndicate Indian authorities accuse of engaging in murder, extortion and weapon-smuggling. He is also accused of financing militant groups and of masterminding bomb and grenade attacks in Mumbai in March 1993 that killed 257 people and wounded more than 700.
Sheena Bora murder case’s prime accused Indrani Mukerjea often asks for A4 size white papers from the jail authorities to make notes on the 1000-plus page chargesheet which has been filed by the CBI.
Indrani is preparing ‘strong arguments’ that she can present in the court in her defence.
She also interacts with her lawyers almost daily to discuss about the case.
The report further states that Indrani, who earlier preferred to remain lonesome in the jail and also allegedly fainted due to depression, after being discharged from JJ Hospital has begun waking up at 5 in the morning for a shower and attends religious discourses.
“She appears to be in total control of herself, and she has even convinced many in nearby cells that she is innocent, and framed by others involved in the murder,” a source quoted as saying.
The Bombay High Court on Wednesday observed the prosecution has not been able “to prove beyond reasonable doubt” that Bollywood actor Salman Khan was driving the ill-fated vehicle or was under the influence of alcohol on September 28, 2002, when it met with an accident.
Justice A.R. Joshi also said it was difficult to rely on the testimony of the late Ravindra Patil, the police bodyguard assigned to Salman Khan who was in the vehicle that night when the vehicle mowed down one pavement dweller and injured four others in Bandra West.
Besides, the judge noted that the prosecution has not been able to establish whether the incident occurred due to bursting of the vehicle tyre prior to the accident or whether the tyre burst after the incident.
Terming him as “an unreliable witness” Justice Joshi observed it was difficult to accept Patil’s answers that the car tyre “burst due to the impact” (of the crash).
The court also observed that in his police statement recorded hours after the accident that day, Patil made no mention about Salman being drunk, but said this only on October 1 (that year) after the blood sample tests reports were received.
On Thursday, Justice Joshi is likely to deliver the much-anticipated verdict in Salman’s appeal against the Sessions Court order last May, convicting him to five years’ jail on charges, among other things, of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Justice Joshi’s observations came during his ongoing dictation of the verdict before the open court since Monday, and is expected to be completed on Thursday.
