JD (U) backs Hamid Ansari, says minorities being targetted by NDA government, ire VHP

The Janata Dal (United) on Tuesday backed Vice President Hamid Ansari’s comments on minorities, saying they are being targetted by the present NDA regime.

“The minorities are being targetted since this government assumed power. There is discrimination on the basis of religion, because they are either Muslims or Christians. They are debarred from representation and this has been told by Justice Rangnath Mishra also,”JD (U) leader Ali Anwar told ANI. “And this has been pointed out by the vice president academically since he is an academician,” he added.

Anwar further said that the Rajinder Sachar committee has already given its report about the condition of minorities in the country and what should be done for them, but nothing has happened.
“Various reports of different committees have asserted that there are backward Muslims and Christians too. They are also citizens of this country, and the committee talked about their equal opportunity, but nothing has been done,” he added.

The Hindutva organisation said such a demand seeks to “push Muslims in dark alleys of dissatisfaction whose consequences will be dangerous”. “With due respect to the Vice-President’s chair, the VHP condemns this rank communal statement. This is a political statement which does not befit the office of a Vice-President,” VHP’s Surendra Jain said.

Jain said Indian Muslims enjoy more constitutional rights than they do in many Muslim countries, claiming that they have been appeased by various means over the years. He said Ansari should apologise for his “unfortunate” statement.

On Monday while delivering an inaugural address at the “Golden Jubilee Session of All India Muslim Majlis-e- Mushawarat”, Vice President Ansari said “Muslims were an integral part of the freedom struggle against the British rule. They are dispersed all over the country, are not homogenous in linguistic and socio-economic terms and reflect in good measure the diversities that characterise the people of India as a whole”.

Jennifer Lopez’s hi-tech wardrobe system!

Jennifer-LopezSinger-actress Jennifer Lopez reportedly has a high-tech system to remember everything she wears so she does not repeat her outfits.

Lopez, 46, uses a database to help her pick her outfits, reported the New York Daily News.

“She had her feet up at a meeting, and someone noticed that she had a bar code on her shoe and asked her if she borrowed them.

“Jennifer laughed and said no, that she has her own internal bar code system on all of her closets to digitally keep track of what she wore and when she wore it, so that she isn’t caught wearing the same thing twice,” a source said.

The database also has a picture of the clothes or shoes and has details about the size, colour and the date when she was last seen wearing it as well as its location to monitor which outfits are kept in her New York home and which ones are kept in her Los Angeles abode.

And to keep everything in control, the singer has hired someone to look after her wardrobe full-time.

India must revive its manufacturing sector

The government has announced the “Make in India” programme to give boost to the manufacturing sector which is witnessing a negative growth. India’s share of global manufacturing stands at little over 2 percent. China has meanwhile over the years positioned itself as the workshop of the world, accounting for 22.4 percent of global manufacturing. China’s manufacturing sector to the overall GDP is about 40 per cent, the contribution of India’s manufacturing to the GDP is nearly 15 per cent. India is good at making plans but very poor at implementation of them. However, China is good at both therefore it has surged ahead of India.

For India to achieve its stated goals of reviving the manufacturing sector and providing jobs to the tens of millions of unemployed youth, IT will need massive investment, including major contributions from foreign investors. Efforts must be taken by the government to develop the small and medium enterprises which can create large scale employment. Till date the government has been neglecting this sector to favour large scale enterprises. We have to create opportunities of employment. If the poor get jobs the purchasing power of families will increase. Make in India should not remain restricted on paper but the government must effectively oversee its implementation.

Now, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced this program and we will soon see banners and lobbying to corner the positions as skill trainers. Governments must remain very watchful and must not hesitate to bring in foreign technicians to assist us otherwise we are likely to have fake instructors who will hand over bogus certificates. It must not be forgotten that skill development has to be an ongoing programme because techniques and technology continues to change every year. Training and retraining has to be our motto. Our Indian industries can impart skill training to labours which will improve their efficiency and promote employment.

Government of India must be congratulated to introduce the Make in India programme because they have understood its importance. It must upgrade the infrastructure of technical institutions bring them at par with their global counterparts. First a person needs to learn some work and then he must gradually start doing business. Today our nation produce large number of graduates but many of them are unemployable.

The biggest challenge facing our country today is degradation in moral values. If you are well respected in the society, you don’t need a bullet proof BMW.  I also read that bullet proof cars will be offered to Governor and Chief Minister soon.  Such initiatives will only promote the VVIP culture which needs to be abolished.

I think India has too many holidays: John Abraham

John (2)Welcome Back actors John Abraham and Anil Kapoor are extremely eager to work on holidays and festivals, with John stating that he doesn’t believe in holidays.

“It’s a very extremist and unfair way of looking at things, but I don’t really believe in holidays at all. I think we have too many holidays in this country which is economically a huge loss for the country. So we need to reduce the number of holidays,” said John at a press meet on Raksha Bandhan (Saturday) to a query if they were comfortable on working on such a day.

And if Anil is fond of working on holidays, its partly because of his sister. “I feel somewhere my sister, who’s in Delhi, has blessed me, and she sends me her good wishes and she always says ‘I want you to keep on working’. That’s the best thing she could say. Because I love working and I would love to work on every Raksha Bandhan day and remember my sister.”

“For me, working on a holiday and especially festivals is the best thing. I feel I’m blessed that I’ve been in this profession since many years and I see to it that I work on Holi also,” he added.

Non-Surgical Face Lift with Magic Pro Threads

Magic-Pro-ThreadsNon-Surgical facelifts have been the buzz for the last few years with varying degrees of success but truly there has been a lack for true lifting in the non-surgical field, with non-surgeons being dependent on plastic surgeons when there is redundant tissue that needs to be lifted.

Be it a heavy cheek that is making your face look odd and plump or a poorly defined jaw line or deep lines that make you look upset and depressed all the time, the Cog thread lift is the non-surgical answer.

If you had sharp features and suddenly notice that there are shadows on your face or your cheeks are not as lifted as before or that the corners of your mouth is drooping or it seems that suddenly you are getting a double chin, then Cog threads can help you.

The Magic Pro threads are made of an absorbable material “Polydiaxonone”. This is the material used to make resorbable surgical sutures that are used in surgery. It is broken down over a period of time by the body and one does not have to worry about adverse events or foreign body reactions. It’s safe and has a proven safety record.

Depending on the area and the heaviness of the skin or laxity of the skin, the threads are inserted into the skin. There is no need to make a cut as in surgical the threads have small little barbs, which hold onto the skin when inserted. This causes a tug and a lift that is instant and long lasting. This is a lunchtime process as it takes 30 minutes to prepare and 30 minutes to perform the procedure.

The results have been known to last for 2 to 3 yrs. Part of the effect, up to 40 per cent is immediate and the rest is visible over 8 – 12 weeks due to the skin stimulation to produce its own collagen by the Polydiaxonone absorption.

Right after the procedure, you can perform your normal work. There is mild swelling  lasting for 24 to 48 hours. Magic Pro threads have been the top aesthetic procedure in South East Asia for the last 3 years and it has just reached the Indian shore.
