Rajasthani Folk Music AVLike every year, this year too, the Rajasthani folk and culture came alive at Rajpuriya Baug in Vile Parle. Ushering the festival of colour, “Holi Milan Sammelan” was organised by Bissau Welfare Trust, Seva Bharati Trust and Shri Kamal Poddar, making the evening a grand and memorable affair.

Renowned artistes Seema Mishra and Manoj Chhaparwal took centre-stage and illuminated the evening with Rajasthani folk songs and dances. The musical troupe mesmerised with folklore and especially the 500-year old “Duff and Gindhad” art. Folk music is a vital part of Rajasthani culture. Their artistic and cultural tradition reflects ancient Indian way of life.
