‘SIMI terrorists, who fled MP jail, involved in Burdwan blast?’

Five SIMI terrorists, who fled Madhya Pradesh’s Khandwa district jail last year, may have links in the Burdwan blast.

The NIA is now reportedly probing possible links between the October 2 Burdwan blast and the SIMI terrorists.

A high alert has also been sounded across the nation after IB received information that the terrorists may be planning a terror strike at the behest of Pakistan’s spy agency Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).

The alert was sounded after the IB intercepted their conversation which hinted at the possibility of a terror attack and states of Karnataka, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

On the basis of inputs by the central intelligence agencies, the states have been asked to look out for Mohammad Aijajudden, Mohammad Aslam, Amjad Khan, Zakir Hussain Sadiq and Mehboob Guddu.

The SIMI terrorists had fled Madhya Pradesh jail after scaling the 14-feet wall in 2014 in October.

Their presence were traced by the police in Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor district but the terrorists manage to flee.

The terrorists are also suspected to have been involved in a bank robbery in Telangana in February this year.

Their link in a Bangalore-Guwahati train blast at Chennai Central station that killed a young software engineer in May is also being probed.
