Police recovered skeletal remains dumped in mangroves at Gorai village in western Mumbai.
A coconut was also found along with the skeletal remains that appear very old, an official said, adding the bones were sent for forensic examination.
Prima facie it is a case of black magic.
“The bones are very old and details like the gender of the deceased etc. will be known only after examination,” the official said.
Borivali police are investigating the case.
