The man was later arrested by the Government Railway Police (GRP) at Dombivali.
“Around 7 o’clock, when we had gone for strolling, we saw a woman struggling to walk. When we asked her what happened to her, she said she couldn’t remember anything and she might have fell from train. She was bleeding and she couldn’t sit nor stand. We immediately took her to the Fortis Hospital,” said Amit Mamuhankar, who took the girl to the hospital.
“The girl is out of danger now and is recovering.hope she gets well soon,” he added.
The man named Dinesh Yadav had asked his wife to get into the women’s compartment, while he got into the general compartment.
At every station, he was coming to see his wife. After Navel boarded the women compartment of the train along with her mother, she objected on Dinesh entering into the women’s compartment.
Both of them went into an altercation and Dinesh threw Navel from the running train.
At present, Navel is admitted in the Fortis Hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
