A bizarre incident occurred in Bhayander when Digvijay Singh Jodha 20 year old youth climbed up three floors of an apartment for taking revenge against a woman who had a tiff with his mother. As per preliminary reports, Jodha’s mother was involved in a heated argument with the woman residing in flat number 304. Jodha was upset with the woman as she had insulted his mother. In a fit of rage, Jodha picked up a sword as he tried to enter the woman’s house to teach her a lesson however she refused to open the door. The incident took place on Wednesday morning at a building in Planetaria Complex in Bhayander West.
Jodha then climbed three floors with the support of buildings outer wall and gallery extensions. This time too his attempt to enter the woman’s house failed as he broke the window panes of her house and later climbed down. Fortunately, neither Jodha nor residents were injured during the incident. Bystanders even recorded a video of Jodha climbing the building and breaking the window. The video has already gone viral on social media inviting the ire of netizens. In the video, Jodha is seen hurling abuses against the woman and she was pleading for help.
Neighbours watched the entire incident and asked Jodha to reach the ground floor. They reprimanded him for taking this drastic step. Later they handed Jodha to the police and briefed them about the incident. Navghar police has arrested Jodha and he was booked under Arms Act and section 342 of the Indian Penal code. Jodha informed the police that he had taken this step as the woman had insulted his mother and he wanted to seek revenge. The video has also been shared with the police officials. Police are probing this matter further and has questioned the woman too.
