Two accused sent to police custody for assaulting teacher

Two persons named Rameshchandra Shobnath Mishra, the Head Master of Gyanodaya Vidyamandir Hindi Primary Medium School, Thane and Ashish Mishra responsible for attacking Mahajan Matu Prajapati, teacher of the same school, have surrendered before the police. Four persons have already been arrested. Both the accused have been trying to evade arrest since last two months by changing their location. Mahajan Prajapati had alleged that he made some false allegation against Rameshchandra Mishra hence both the accused had attacked him. On the condition of anonymity, a teacher of Gyanodaya Vidyamandir said that Rameshchandra Mishra possessed criminal background and he used to quarrel with teachers. Mishra used to report to Shree Durga Mata Hindi Primary School instead of attending Gyanodaya Vidyamandir.

Sachin Ambre, Assistant Inspector of Vartak Nagar police station said, “Rameshchandra Mishra and Ashish Mishra have been sent to police custody till January 22.”
