Afternoon Voice, Impact Stories, Impact, AV Impact, Aftrnoon Voice, Afternoon Voice AnniversaryWith courage, flair, a strong pen in hand and an objective to promote parallel journalism, Afternoon Voice was launched and after walking a thousand miles, today, we’re celebrating the victorious waymark of completing nine memorable years. With an ultimate fusion of proper strategy and dedication, we proudly say, ours is the only parallel media house existing so far. We verify facts, ensure readability, confirm reliable and important information, and play the part of a pathfinder for many who are keen to the factual daily news.

“Afternoon Voice has given me the confidence to express my views and I am carrying the same inspiration into my team every day. It’s been a year that I have joined the AV family. While the day-to-day work brings to bear multiple challenges, scores of ups and downs, errors, and improvement, the support and reassurances from my entire team has up-skilled me even more than what several years of job tenure is capable of. Its unbiased approach towards news is what made a mark in my heart in the first few days. Wish AV a brighter future on the occasion of 9th Anniversary,” shared Moumita Mukherjee, the Resident Editor of Afternoon Voice.

Being biased is not only about facts; it is also about the frame of reference in which it is presented. Being designated as the fourth pillar of a democracy, the responsibility of news media must be none other than giving out the authentic and verified report to the society. We as a part of AV are precisely following the path.

“I am working with AV since last eight years. While working with the organisation, I have learnt several aspects like how a story is covered, edited and presented for publication. We have covered various stories that have made an impact in the lives of people. Journalism has evolved today and people remain updated about current affairs anytime, anywhere with their mobile phones and PCs. On the occasion of 9th Anniversary of Afternoon Voice, I wish the paper all success,” Suraj Chandran, the Resident Editor of AV recalls his involvement.

Sub-Editor Twinkle Mehta stated, “My fruitful journey in the Afternoon Voice started five months back as the Sub-Editor. It is quite encouraging to have received immense opportunities as well as appreciation in the sooner stage of my career. I am gratified to get motivation at all stages from our Editor-in-Chief Vaidehi and feel blessed to work in such an ecstatic environment. I wish to have many more bright years ahead in the organisation.”

“Wish Afternoon Voice a very happy 9th Anniversary. AV is a platform that portrays the ‘True Voice’ of the people; it has created the benchmark of unbiased journalism. It has been an immense experience to work with Afternoon Voice and here I got exposure and journalistic freedom. I am thankful to the Editor-in-Chief Vaidehi for providing this opportunity,” Mohit Soman, Sub-Editor of AV summed up his journey.

At a time, when the news media is mostly singing in the tune of some of the other financial, political or influential entities, we, in Afternoon Voice, are standing tall to represent the voice of the taxpayers in a democracy. And all these are possible just because of the support of our readers who believe in our integrity. We are determined to keep up the good work and we promise that Afternoon Voice won’t ever be suppressed by any intruder influence. On the occasion of the 9th Anniversary, other members of the AV family too poured their heart out…

Digital Editor Akshay Redij expressed, “Afternoon Voice turned 9 today. It was a fun filled year working with some new, young and innovative minds around. This year, we got some new team onboard for the editorial department which gave us a huge boost in our working patterns. We took up the task to revamp our website and brought in new design layouts in the newspaper. In years ahead, we will try to bring more content and facts driven stories which will connect the common citizens. We at Afternoon Voice have always stood by the commoners in their fight against injustice; being unbiased, we will continue this fight until our last breath. On this auspicious day, I give my best of the wishes to Afternoon Voice and the NBC Parivar!”
