In a shocking incident, a woman was dragged and kidnapped in public view in Bengaluru. The act was caught on CCTV camera installed in the area.
In the video, a man is seen walking up to the woman, grabbing her from behind and carrying her to a secluded spot.
The incident, took place at Katriguppe in South Bengaluru on April 23, was captured by a CCTV.
The victim said she resisted him and escaped after biting the abductor’s hand. She rushed back to her PG and narrated her ordeal.
The woman subsequently escaped from the clutches of her abductor, who took her to a construction site behind the PG accommodation before taking to his heels.
It is alleged that officers at CK Achukattu police station were aware of the incident, however they did not act upon. After footage of the media, policemen are now being questioned for dereliction of duty.
The victim raised alarm, following which passers-by rushed to help. She later claimed that the PG owner tried to convince her to desist from filing a complaint.
She also claimed that though the CK Achukattu police has registered her complaint, no action has been taken.
