The incident took place this afternoon and the woman – Leela Rawal from Sahibabad has been detained by the Delhi Police.

The woman was angry over police not registering her case of eve-teasing.

The woman in question was seen shouting slogans and tried to block the route to be taken by the Prime Minister.

She refused to clear the way for the convoy, saying that she wanted to meet PM Modi.

Sources told that the woman wanted to meet PM at his office, but was stopped by the security personnel. Following this, the woman got into an argument with the security men guarding the PMs convoy.

During the argument with the cops, the woman allegedly pushed a flower pot kept at one of the guard rails, which fell on the road ahead of the convoy.

She was immediately apprehended by the police and taken to the Parliament Street Police Station for questioning.

The police has ruled out a premeditated attack and has taken the incident as an spontaneous display of anger by her for not being allowed to meet the PM.
