The romantic screen icon floored one and all with his great looks as Bollywood loses its greatest magician of all time. Shashi Kapoor acted in over 150 films and his character left a stamp on the audience even if the film failed at the box office which speaks volumes of his acting skills. He was a household name in the country but more importantly he was a great human being who would be remembered for his simplicity and humility. Prithvi Theatre, founded by him, is Mumbai’s iconic landmark which encourages theatre and a must visit place for art lovers. Shashi Kapoor loved cricket more than he loved films and was often spotted at international games featuring his nation. The void left by his death would be near to impossible to fill but he would be remembered till films are made on earth. Rest In Peace Shashi Kapoor.
