A 21-year-old woman was brutally gangraped by local goons in Bihar’s Motihari at gunpoint.
The victim was dragged out of her house last week by a few men and was badly beaten up and raped.
When the accused called her and tried to blackmail her, she hit Samiullah with a blade. In a fit of rage, the accused attacked the girl and raped her to take the revenge.
The girl was taken to a nearby hospital in a critical condition. The victim said, “They raped me and after that, they beat me. Later their family members came and they too attacked me.”
Her family members are seeking action against the culprits. “My daughter has been raped. Police came and took her to hospital. As of now police has done nothing. They have not caught the culprits,” the victim’s mother said.
The victim was first sexually assaulted on June 15 by Samiullah when she was out of her house. The victim narrated the incident to her mother who went to the accused’s house to lodge a protest but instead was abused and beaten up.
Peeved by the allegation, Samiullah along with five other men later dragged the victim out her house and raped her. “The incident had occurred on June 15 but medical examination of the victim was done on June 22”, sources close to family members claimed.
The accused are absconding.
