A rare combination

A typical situation has arisen in the functioning of BCCI after the corrupt practises were unearthed by Lodha Panel Recommendations and well supported by Supreme Court we are going to see light at the end of the tunnel.  Devoid of RTI cover, BCCI was carrying on with headless administrators in the robe of politicians and bureaucrats played a prominent role and with their seizure in service a new team is going to take over and do a world of good to the cricket body. Historian, auditor along with Ex-CAG Vinod Rai all joined the new panel of administrators and that is good news. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely proved correct as far as BCCI is concerned and if such level headed decisions were not taken then the Board would have gone bankrupt after some time. The induction of lady cricket Diana Edulji completes the team of four. Apart from the two Vikram Limaye and historian Ramachandra Guha formed a strong mixture of people having capacity to handle such a huge empire as BCCI is the richest board among the cricketing playing countries in the world. It is noteworthy to know that the four will manage the board activities till the time reforms suggested by Lodha Panel are implemented in the BCCI working system. It appears to be a scratch combination but destined to play key role in cleaning up cricket in India.
