The episode of Army recruitment paper leakage has sent alarm bells ringing all over the country. It reveals the fact that corruption scandals, one after another, have taken the Indian Army’s morale to a new low. It is dangerous that national disease had penetrated into army as well. The image of the Indian army in the public perception is not far from an untrustworthy police officer. Stringent action must be taken against those found guilty. Don’t we think the government must adopt a zero-tolerance for corruption policy with regard to the processes employed in the Army.
