The talented daughter of ace filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt—Alia, is certainly a focused actress. The generation next star, who has just wrapped-up Vikas Bahl’s ‘Shaandaar’ opposite Shahid Kapoor, is now all geared up to start shoot for her next.
The latest buzz right now is that Alia chose Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Udta Punjab’ over Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Rock On 2’. According to sources, rumours are rife that the 21-year-old chirpy actress chose the former one as ‘Rock One 2’ had an ensemble cast, which meant that she would have a lesser important role to play in it.
However, the actress has so far featured in lead roles. Nonetheless, no official statement has been made either by the makers or by the actress as yet. ‘Udta Punjab’ reportedly stars Kareena Kapoor Khan as well, besides Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
