Anderson is at it again

Test cricket is the real test for spotting the real strength of a bowler and Jimmy Anderson stood firm in a fighting way to complete 500 wickets in his international career. He became the first English bowler to accomplish the feat.  He is the only active member in the elite group of bowlers, who have achieved 500 or more wickets in the longer form of the game.  The list includes Sri Lanka’s Muttiah Muralitharan with 800 wickets followed by Australia’s great leg spinner Shane Warne with 708 wickets and India’s own Anil Kumble with 619 wickets stood first, second and the third in the wickets tally. Both Australian Glenn McGrath and Courtney Walsh are above Anderson with more than 500 wickets and lead a limited list of successful bowlers. All the five bowlers now have retired and Jimmy can increase his tally with 100 more wickets, if he continues the same form in the Ashes and in home series against India. Jimmy Anderson is at it again and his lethal pace and lateral swing saw England clinching a series against a weak West Indies side 2-1 and the pace bowler was the man behind this significant success.
