Actor Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming comedy-drama ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, which was slated to release on August 31, will now hit the big screens on September 14 this year.
The news was shared by film critic and trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, who tweeted, “#BattiGulMeterChalu to release on 14 Sept 2018… Stars Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor… Directed by Shree Narayan Singh.”
‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ is about bringing the social issue of electricity shortage to the notice of people and to encourage authorities to investigate the inaccuracies of electricity bills.
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film also features Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam in the pivotal roles.
